161 Battery's first Live Shell Practice with the 105-mm light gun

In 1987, the New Zealand Army purchased the 105-mm light gun from Australia. These images, taken by Kevin 'Brindle' Briden, RNZA, record the first live shell practice with the light gun by 161 Battery RNZA, and are reproduced here with permission. Bombardier Briden died in 1999 when his vehicle rolled off feature 'Lion'.
