37 Battery

Formed 1942 in Fiji from those members of 35 Bty who had been stationed in the Western area.

The battery left Fiji in September for New Zealand where they, along with others, were eventually reorganised into 17 Fd Regt, 53 and 54 Anti-tank batteries and 144 Independent Battery, which then returned to the Pacific.
